There are too many possible causes of conjunctivitis (pink eye) to judge the proper treatment, especially when the problem keeps recurring. There are certain systemic medical conditions that can cause recurrent or treatment-resistant conjunctivitis. Keep working with your eye doctor, including questions about possible underlying disorders. Good luck.
