Pituitary?: Sounds like it. They can produce hormones, or enkarge and not produce hormones but symptoms from crowding other hormone production, or visual since the optic chiasm and adjacent cavernous sinus ; optic nerves close. Sounds serious, but "trans-sphenoidal" through nasal passage quite safe and less morbid than other ways.
