Gluten free: Gluten causes symptoms in many patients, and for different reasons. If you stopped gluten and then had exposure to it again after about 3 weeks, then you can feel worse than before you stopped gluten. That's because of immune complexes. Do keep in mind that gluten reactivity may not be the only problem you have.

Diet: If you feel worse then it is unlikely you have a condition warranting changing your diet. Did you decrease your calories too? This could make you feel bad.
