I fell on my knee almost a week ago and think i may have bruised my meniscus. i have already done so to the same knee yrs ago.should i go to the doc?

Unlikely: A direct fall on the knee very rarely injures the meniscus unless u twisted your knee before u fell. Falling on the knee can result in contusions to the kneecap, pre and infra patellar bursitis most commonly. More significant falls or blows to the front of the knee can fracture the patella and occassionally tear the posterior cruciate ligament( pcl). Best of luck!
