Discomfort lower left abdomin-incl to touch not constant/severe and often occurs with gas or need to have bm.loose bowels.ct done for diverticulitis-bowel/related was unremarkable-no mass/inflamation.

Enteritis: You may need colonoscopy. If not being seen by a GI doctor you might consider doing this.

Follow up with Dr.: You probably have seen a doctor to have a ct ordered. Persistent pain and discomfort could be related to a number of possible causes. A gastroenterologist may be helpful if this is a persistent problem. Further work up beyond a ct scan may include colonoscopy and additional laboratory tests, depending on the findings.
