No.: The minimum amount of protein that you need to build muscle is 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. I personally recommend about 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight. Proteins are the building blocks of muscle, so if you don't get enough protein in your diet, you could do all the exercise in the world and not gain the muscle mass you desire.
