A member asked:

To rule in or out cerebral aneurysm, usually is mri/mra test done with gadolinium contrast or without.would mr/mra test with contrast be more accurate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

MR angiography: Can probably detect most aneurysms, and it is always done with gadolinium type contrast. But it is probably not as accurate as an arteriogram, which is more dangerous. Ask your doctor for specific recommendation.
