how do nursing homes evacuate during tornado warning?

Depends: Those who can walk or move in a wheel chair should enter a small interior room( like a bathroom) if there is no basement. Long hallways are better than a room with a window, but sometimes the long hallways become wind tunnels. Those in beds should be moved next to an interior wall and covered in blankets or possible extra mattress. Draw the shades to help prevent flying glass.
