Do senior home residents get evacuated during tornado warning?

Check SOP: I think you would need to check with the specific facility. Each should have a standardized operating procedure for emergencies (to include environmental emergencies). Depending on situation, it may be safer in some situations to maintain refuge within the facility (in place) as opposed to evacuating. My guess is that a lot would go into making this type of decision.
