They should try!: I beleive it is the desire of most every nursing home to try to meet the needs of the resident and those of the family and caregivers. If you are a caregaiver, you shold have a frank and open dialog with those in the nursing home who are caring for your loved one and also with the administration of the nh. That depends: Different nursing homes/ assisted living facilities provide varying levels of care. That is why it is very important to take a critical look at what your needs are to research the facility you chose to live at. Some facilities provide more extensive services as a person's level of needs increases. The costs usually rise as the need for more extensive services increase.
