I've noticed sometimes in the few days before my period starts, my gums can feel sore/tender and sensitive in spots and I have to brush extra carefully to avoid further irritation. I don't have that problem any other time of the month. Why is that?
Can gingivitis occur without inflammation and bleeding? Or a little redness near gum line could be due to brushing? Had prof cleaning done 3 weeks ago & this appeared a few days ago, dentist didnt mention any problem at the time?
