Not recommended: This puts axial load on the wrist which drives the capitate proximally putting force and stress on the scaphoid-lunate interval causing potential for new or extended tear as well as mid carpal arthritis. If you did not have reconstructive or reparative surgery then at higher risk for worsening injury.
