A member asked:

Can a scapholunate ligament injury cause pain on pinky side of wrist as well as swelling and pain in pinky and ring finger?

Possibly, but swelling and pain in the 4th and 5th fingers is of concern. They comprise much of the strength of your hand and injuries or inflammation of these should be accurately diagnosed and treated to avoid chronic damage. I recommend consulting a hand specialist for best care.

Not typically, that pain pattern is more commonly seen with a TFCC tear or lunatotriquetral ligament injury. You need to see a hand surgeon for evaluation.
