Recovery rare: Complete disruption of the scapholunate interval leads to instability and disassociation. This very rarely heals on its own usually requiring surgical reconstruction. This will improve your function but rarely leads to complete recovery back to pre injury functional status. If not appropriately addressed will continue to progressively degenerate toward a SLAC wrist deformity.
