Chorhexidine: The Chlorhexidine kills bacteria and salt water does not... I think you will get better healing with the chlorhexidine..

Chlorhexidine: Chlorhexidine actually kills bacteria (bactericidal), salt water does not. Salt water helps with inflammation only. I have never placed a dental implant and told a patient to go home and rinse with salt water. On the other hand, each one leaves with a bottle of Chlorhexidine to use 2x/day until it's gone.
