A member asked:

Is it safe to use iodized salt for a warm salt water rinse after wisdom teeth extraction?

Yes: You should use 1/2 teaspoon of salt in an 8 oz glass of warm water. Gently rinse with it and then spit it out. You should not be swallowing the solution so the type of salt is irrelevant.
