7-10: Typically 7-10 days to decrease bacterial presence. Warm salt water is also fine in addition to peridex (chlorhexidine gluconate). I would not do less than 5 nor more than 10. Good Luck.

First week only: Peridex (chlorhexidine gluconate) should be used as directed the first week only.

7-10: I like to state "7-10days please"....mostly because patients will only do 3-4days which is fine and I like warm salt rinses too if the patient does not like the peridex (chlorhexidine gluconate).
