Need docs answers! what factors affect doctors' decisions on which treatment is best after a heart attack?

Lots of things: The coronary anatomy (the vessels, the size, the blockages - number, severity, location), pumping function of the heart, symptoms, age, general condition, other medical problems that might affect the risk of different treatments. All these things figure into the docs' recommendations.
