Gp diagnosed alcohol neuropathy 3 wks ago by call.had withdrawal. worried anxiety is mimicking the tingling in feet now.on sunday a&e doc did strength,touch,reflex tests,heart trace.sugar level.said pyhsically fit. anxiety the cause.suffer badly?

Maybe not: With all those in-person tests being normal, risk of peripheral neuropathy is pretty low. Can’t tell for sure without a more careful exam by a Neurologist. Check with one if you are still worried.
Just perhaps, guidance regarding long-term withdrawal from alcohol may be more beneficial

Not so sure: The foot tingling could be a minimal and mild peripheral neuropathy due to alcohol/ nutritional causation. Make sure you are receiving adequate thiamine under the circumstances. Give it some time. Address your anxiety and alcohol usage with a psychologist who does cognitive-behavioral therapy.
