Many can: Non-hodgkin's lymphoma and hodgkin's lymphoma commonly cause swelling of lymph nodes. But any cancer that spreads to a lymph node can cause swelling of the involved lymph nodes.

Many.: Many cancers cause swollen lymph nodes. Head and neck cancers can have rock-hard, enlarged cervical or supraclavicular lymph nodes. Breast cancer can cause axillary lymph nodes to be enlarged.
