Absolutely not!: That would be a terrible idea. Just as there are good fats ; bad fats, there are good ; bad carbs. To lose weight, minimize sugars ; simple carbs (starches) but foods with complex carbs such as vegetables (like greens, onions), beans, nuts ; low-glycemic fruits like berries are essential for good health, as are healthy fats like fish, hemp ; flax oil. Avoid unhealthy carbs ; fats, not healthy ones.

Saturated Fats Bad?: Largely agree with dr. Baker. However idea that saturated animal fats (unprocessed) are unhealthy also not correct; not supported by scientific evidence. While I am concerned for animals, animal cruelty ; global warming (~70-80% stored sunlight energy within plant materials lost when used as animal feed ; animal tissues later eaten for food), we have evolved as omnivores ; issues are more complex.
