Not serious: If your ribs started to hurt after exercise and you can touch the part that hurts and reproduce the pain then you can be confident that it is an injury to the ribs and or the muscles that attach to them. This will almost always take care if it's self. It takes longer then you would like. Heat and tylenol, (acetaminophen) aleve or Motrin will help. If you are short of breath or the pain is severe see your doctor.
