Rib cage pain ...: Most likely it is associated with inflammation of your rib cage which it is something that can be treated with anti inflammatory medications like ibuprofen. However, if you develop trouble breathing, cough, fever, palpitations it might be associated with other more serious problems and you would require medical evaluation. If you don't suffer of any illnesses it is unlikely that is serious.
