Prescription only: There are several topical medications for eye pain but they must be prescribed by a doctor. Try Motrin and Tylenol (acetaminophen) if you don't plan on being seen. Although very, very, painful, this type of injury usually resolves on its own. That being said, if symptoms persist or you have vision problems, see your doctor or go to the ER.
