A member asked:

Would growth and development of babies with scoliosis be the same as compared to normal babies?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: There are only a fraction of scoliosis patients that will have abnormal vertebrae and scoliosis on that basis. If those defects are part of a wider syndrome diagnosis, their function is based on the syndrome normals not the general population. Most scoliosis develops during the rapid growth phase of puberty and has no effect on intellect.
