A member asked:

I had mono about 2 months ago, the only thing left is the neck pain. does this mean i can never kiss anyone again?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No!!: Mononucleosis is spread by kissing, and sharing drinks, like many viruses. When you are well, without fever, you can participate in your usual activities as tolerated. Certainly, you can kiss someone. There is always a risk of getting a virus this way, but no worse than usual! do avoid sharing cups and utensils with others.
