Unusual: Six weeks post op from gb surgery done on a younger patient ---you should be well by now. Persistence of the pain despite NSAID is unusual, and you should seek the advice of your surgeon.

I would call MD: I would recommend that you contact your surgeon and inform him/her of your symptoms. It could be a leak, a retained stone, sludge, and ulcer and many other problems that are difficult to diagnose via online descriptions. In all likelihood though, it is not a cause for concern.
