Was the surgery laparoscopic? You should call your surgeon and report the level of pain you are having. Your surgeon knows the details of your surgery including the condition of the gallbladder when it was removed. These details are important to determine if the level of pain you have is expected or not. If you cannot reach your surgeon and your pain is worsening, go to the ER for evaluation.
