Possibly an ulcer: Usually ibuprofen-induced gastritis responds to medications like Prilosec. However, if they are more sever, they can turn into ulcers which are more difficult to treat. Remain off of the ibuprofen, continue the Prilosec & try to see a Gastroenterologist.
