Blepharochalasis: Generally done under local - usually cosmetic at age 41 so not covered by insurance. Pictures taken, the area cleaned, anesthetic injected (hardly painful), skin incisions outlined, cut with scalpel and scissors, underlying fact removed and muscles revised. Closure with tiny stitches which are removed in 6 days. Rapid healing and usually excellent results with this type of surgery.
