The : The cause of dark circles under the eyes is usually related to the skin itself. As a result a blepharoplasty or eyelid tuck to remove the bags under your eyes won't typically improve this. It is very difficult to improve this skin pigmentation issue. However, in some cases the under eye darkness is due to shadowing in the area so a procedure that can smooth the area can improve this issue. Besides a blepharoplasty, I have found that improving the volume loss in the area under the eye can also help immensely with this problem. Techniques such as facial fat transfer or skin filler injections can be used to make these changes.

The : The best answer to eye bags is oftentimes fat transfer or fillers as the hollowness underneath the bag is almost always the culprit. On rare occasions, i combine that with removal of fat too but that is oftentimes simply unnecessary. Dark circles if they are skin color issues then that is hard to manage. If it is hollowness shadow related, then it should work well for you. Please check out my web site www.Lamfacialplastics.Com for more videos and results on this. Look at the fat grafting or fillers before and afters to see what I am talking about. Best, sam lam.

Lower lid bleph: A lower lid blpahroplasty cannot rid the dark circles under your eyes completely. There may be some improvement with removal of the "bags" as there is less shadowing.
