A member asked:

Would tegretol lessen the effect of lexapro (escitalopram) or celexa?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, it does not: Lower the effect of either antidepressant. It can however increase the risk of low-sodium, and slightly increase the risk of serotonin syndrome or neuroleptic malignant syndrome.
