A member asked:

If lexapro (escitalopram) didn't work as well as i would've liked, considering how closely related they are, is celexa worth a try?

They are sister meds: Lexapro (escitalopram) is the active isomer of racemic citalopram . Thus they both have the same action but citalopram(celexa) is likely to have more side effects. There are many different ssri's that cen be tried.
