Please Clarify: Phenergan (promethazine) is one of the most commonly prescribed medications in america. Phenergan (promethazine) is an anti-nausea medication. I do not understand the question.

Phenergan (promethazine) indication: Indicated for nausea/vomiting w/motion sickness. It's was used IV for nausea w/migraines but is caustic to bld vessels ; therefore use has fallen out of favor. W/nausea orally may be vomited ; given rectally has? Absorption. It's an antihistamine ; shouldn't be used in those w/resp problems (asthma, copd, sleep apnea), blood/immune system ds, glaucoma, heart ds w/o caution. Can't use pregnancy.
