A member asked:

Can i safely take 2mg zanaflex with one 220mg aleve and 25mg of phenergan (promethazine) for migraine not responding to my imitrex?

You could...: But, there may be numerous better approaches to your migraines, such as switching Imitrex (sumatriptan) to a different triptan, or trying Dolovent. Maybe prevention is the best approach, such as Botox. This can be complex! Could find a headache specialist, or could even do Concierge session onsite.

Interactions: sedation- due to the interaction of zanaflex and Phenergan (promethazine) is a known side effect. Why would you use a muscle relaxer for migraine?
