I have just been diagnosed with gastritis. my doc prescribed me 25 mg phenergan (promethazine). what else can i do?

Other meds can help: Gastritis is mostly caused by acid reflux and irritation of the gastric lining. To help with the condition, antiacids can help as well, such as pepcid, ranitidine, protonix, prilosec, nexium, (esomeprazole) etc.
