My family doctor sent me to a ent for a biopsy for my thyriod and neck mass. they both have small calification. am i looking at surgery ?

Small calcification : Small calcifications are seen in the thyroid in some conditions. Usually they are seen in psommoma bodies which are a pathological feature seen in papillary thyroid carcinoma fortunately papillary thyroid cancer is very treatable and has a great chance of cure. Any neck nodes can be removed with a selective neck dissection. The good news is lymph nodes in pap thy cancer do not mean badness.
