Being followed for 1.5cm almost fully cystic with slight amount of echogenic foci. doctor says to repeat in year ultrasound. i have vast family history thyroid cancer. should i wait the year or get a biopsy?

If the cyst has a well-defined wall you are safe. Otherwise, just have US done in a year as advised by your doctor, no need for biopsy yet. Take care!
