Same day: Don't worry honey - almost all kids go home the same day form adenoid surgery. You will be sound asleep when everything happens. After they make sure you wake up ok, can drink a little bit of juice or water, make sure you are not in pain, and then home you will go. At home, it takes 1-2 weeks to get back to feeling your old self, a little longer if they are taking out your tonsils too. Don't worry.

Usually overnight: Adenoid removal is not as big a deal as tonsil removal...Typically if all is well and is routine, you are in the hospital overnight. Be sure to ask your surgeon these questions as well.....
