It depends: Being able to stay in a care home would depend on the needs and behavior of the patient, the criteria of the care home, and the services it's able to provide. If patients are unwilling to abide by the care home's rules, to take prescribed medications, or to participate in treatment for their mental illnesses, then they might be evicted. Substance abuse may be a deal-breaker in many care homes.
