Hoping you can tell me, is survivor of mental illness the best person to treat the mentally ill?

Mental illness: Physicians trained in the art and science of treating mental illness would be the best people to treat mental illness. If the treating provider has a mental illness it may increase his empathy understanding and suffering and so can other trained mds who dont have mental illness. You have to find a doctor who is the right fit for you.
