does a history of neurosarcoidosis cause a person to develope mental illness ?

Dr. Susan Uhrich

Any illness that: Causes damage to the brain may involve what you would call "mental illness". And in some patients, just trying to deal with sarcoidosis can precipitate a major depressive episode. But the form of the "mental illness" would depend on where the brain is being damaged.
