No - you are not too: Embarrassed. You feel anxious / embarrassed about it ; have chosen not to see a therapist. Let the therapist ; /or his /her staff know about how anxious you feel upfront. Decide if your feelings are adequate reason to prevent you from getting the help you need. Breath in slowly ; deeply through your nostrils. Fill your lungs with air (but not to the point of discomfort). Hold for a count of 5.
