Shrink/neurologist: Many of the meds used with ADHD are controlled drugs, closely monitored by the Feds and state. Your doc can loose his/her license by prescribing any form of treatment for any condition which his/her records do not back up with proper testing/exam and diagnosis.Get a referral to a neurologist or psychiatrist willing to assess and treat adult ADHD.

ADHA diagnosis: Please see a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in ADD/ADHD. He/she can test you and make the diagnosis. Good for your doc not to medicate you w/out more information. Peace and good health.
