A member asked:

I used to have really bad cat allergy. these days it seems to be almost gone, but still noticeable. no attacks for years. could i "outgrow" allergy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Outgrowing allergy: Its possible that symptoms have gotten milder through the years. That does oftentime happen with aging, though usually at an age older than 33. Sometimes changing hormones can affect the sensitivity to the offending allergen. You may be becoming a bit more tolerant to your cat, but still find that other cats are still a problem.
