Be seen: If he continues to have bloody sputum, he needs to see a pulmonologist. Cancer or tuberculosis are certainly in consideration if he continues to cough up blood.

See your doctor: You might spit up blood for a few days with an infection but definitely not for 2 years. I would suggest seeing a pulmonologist as soon as possible.
