May have to : Adjust your dose up-and-down according to whether you have constipation or diarrhea. It does indeed sound like given what has gone on and I am aware of your past history, that this is ibs. There's no need to be worried. I would talk to your doctor about the option of adjusting the Amitriptyline between five and 10 mg to manage your symptoms. Best wishes.

Stop worrying: There is no reason for vorrying if the diarrhea continues than check it with your doctor or gastroenterologist.Just drink some extra fluids and take immodium for diarrhea and if it persists check with your doctor.
