A member asked:

I'm worried because my wife recently quit eating meat what vitamins should she take, what do you suggest?

Should be fine: If she is only abstaining from meat and keeps a varied and wholesome diet, supplements are probably not necessary. If the diet is more restrictive, it's wise to get with your physician; an economical multivitamin plus mineral supplement is probably sufficient. A vegetarian should work with a physician or nutritionist who's familiar with this area where specialty expertise is important.
