A member asked:

Why is it necessary not to eat red meat vitamin c and chili and brocoli when taking a feces test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Interferences: Red meat and chili are loaded with heme, which is what we're testing for. Vitamin c and is a reducing agent that may interfere with the chemistry, broccoli and horseradish have oxidizers that will interfere as well.
