Probably OK: Orthodontists will frequently engage all four wings of a "twin" bracket with a plastic tie. This holds the wire into the bracket and helps pull the tooth into position. Sometimes, depending on the direction or the intensity of the force the orthodontist thinks is best, the tie will be placed on 2 wings or 3 wings instead of all four. Have your orthodontist check it at your next visit.
